Earlier today, Greyhound 2016 invitations went out. \u00a0We’re gearing up for the 2016 Show-Me State Games.<\/p>\n
Our initial invitee lists includes 8 potential returning Greyhounds. \u00a0Five of these are offered guaranteed spots: \u00a0Kolin Easterling<\/strong>, Connor Parrish<\/strong>, Lemuel Miner<\/strong>, Tosin Ogungbade<\/strong>, and Cody Koebel<\/strong>. \u00a0Cody has already accepted the invitation, and claimed his 35 jersey. \u00a0Also, return invitations were extended to Brendan Royer<\/strong>, Asa Holcomb<\/strong>, and Alex Hook<\/strong>.<\/p>\n We have a few of invitations issued to players who have played for me in Upward, as well; \u00a0invitations were issued to Isaiah Larkins<\/strong> and Lindale Baker<\/strong>, who along with Asa, Alex, and Cody were part of my 2014 Tarheels. \u00a0Invitations were also extended to Max Sachs<\/strong>, who played for my 2015 Bruins along with Asa, and Robert Lee<\/strong>, who was a 2013 Cyclone along with Cody.<\/p>\n There were also invitations issued to brothers of former Greyhounds; \u00a0in addition to Brandon, Lemuel, Tosin and Alex, invitations went out to Josh Candrl<\/strong>, Lane Diggs<\/strong>, and Cooper Rhoades<\/strong>. \u00a0Also, former Bruin Jeremy Anderson<\/strong>‘s older brother, Zach Anderson<\/strong>, was invited.<\/p>\n The final 7 invitations went to players who’ve got no experience with me as a coach: \u00a0Landon Block<\/strong>, Justin Goolsby<\/strong>, Keylan Horn<\/strong>, Bryce Irvin<\/strong>, A.J. Jones<\/strong>, Craig McGowan<\/strong>, and Zane Meyer<\/strong>. \u00a0Landon, who is playing for another team, declined his invitation in a very sportsman-like note from his parents; \u00a0we wish Landon all the best with his team.<\/p>\n Mason Chandler<\/strong> and Sam Clubb\u00a0<\/strong>return as my assistant coaches this year.<\/p>\n We have secured gym space at The Armory for five of the six scheduled practices. \u00a0The practices we’ve scheduled run from 9:00 AM to 12:00 noon, on Saturday, June 4, Saturday, June 18, Saturday June 25, Saturday, July 9, and Saturday, July 16. \u00a0We have not confirmed the location for the practice scheduled for June 11 as of yet.<\/p>\n A main page will be added to update you as to the upcoming year’s roster.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Earlier today, Greyhound 2016 invitations went out. \u00a0We’re gearing up for the 2016 Show-Me State Games.
