23 – Travis Line – 2009-2010

A long-time fixture at point guard (and also playing some shooting guard and small forward), Travis Line was known for his speed. Named the Greyhound’s Fastest Player in 2009 and 2010, Travis was the first person named to the award multiple times. In 2010, Travis was named a Team Captain of the Greyhounds. In addition, he was awarded the Game Ball for best performance in Game 3, as well as being named as one of two participants in the “Best Play” of 2010. In both 2009 and 2010, he was awarded the Line Award, named after him and his younger brother Ethan, also an honored Greyhound. The Line Award is given to the player who has the best per-minute +/- average for the team. After his Greyhound playing career was completed, he joined the Greyhound Coaching Staff, first as the Advance Scout in 2011, and then as the Bench Coach in 2012. Travis is also the first player whose jersey is honored who did not play for one of Joe Vancil’s Upward teams.
